In the summer of 2025 I was commissioned for a cover and several spreads for the excellent children's magazine 'Petit Sapiens' about the history of board games. This is a cropped version of the spread about chess

This is my first a/w for a spread featuring many board games from history. It was agreed that it was too busy, and a simpler version was used in the magazine when it went to print. That version was better, but I like this busy one too!
